Powerboating Self-Drive and Instruction
Join us for the experience of a lifetime on one of our self-drive high speed RIB express tours!
Each person on the tour will have ample opportunity to drive the RIB themselves, after an initial safety briefing and instructional session.
An ideal activity for couples, private parties, stag or hen parties. It is recommended that you book in advance to avoid disappointment.
You drive the RIB whilst following a qualified guide in another boat. We have a small fleet of Avon Rover 3.10 ribs with Yamaha 15hp Outboards.
Group discounts available on request for groups of four or more.
Minimum age: 9 years old
Participants under 16 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
If your appetite for power boating is whetted after one of our express tours, you can come back and do one or two days of Power Boat Training (price on application), enjoying a 20% discount if you’ve been on the express tour with us.
Avon Rover 310
Avon is a name synonymous with Rigid Inflatable Boats, and the Avon Rover 310 RIB is the “Pocket Rocket” of the Avon Fleet.
The Rover 310 is so light and nimble that with only a 15hp outboard engine it’s capable of speeds over 20 knots.
With a shallow 'V'-shaped draft and a low centre of gravity, you can push the Rover 310 right to its limits with full confidence that the boat can take whatever you can give out
